- Go to Wiley remains in hospital.
I believe I know exactly how you feel. When my wife was in the hospital having her gall bladder removed, she took a very long time coming out of the anesthesia. I was told to go home and wait for a phone call to know she was fine, and to come back to get her. I was so miserable, thinking of her there, by herself, and in discomfort until I could get her home! I think Sir Wiley will be fine once you get him home too. It's very therapeutic to be recovering in one's own surroundings . . .

ohh kabu...
i've been so wrapped up in my fb'ing and church and activities that i've not read you my dear friend for a few posts. you both are in my prayers. i seem to be back posting AND reading on blogit and i'm beginning to see the value of it. surely it's a mere pittance to pay to blog with some other writers who care about one another. take care of both yourself and john now. poor guy, poor you, infirmity is oh not fun.
love always,
pear

I sometimes think illness is harder on the caregiver than the patient,
so it's wise wise wise for you to treat yourself with tender loving care. I don't like that headache, don't like it one little bit. I hope when you see him today he's comfortable and fussing to come home. Love and prayers for both of you.

Well I don't think they would send him home if they thought you could not cope, but I would still accept any help that you can get. Be sure to get a Walker that is the main worry if he should fall whilst adjusting to the pills. Thinking of you both

You need your rest Kabu, and it sounds to me like everything is progressing the way it needs to, and I already pray for you two.

Please give Wiley my very best wishes! And I think it's important for you to get enough rest - it won't help Wiley at all if you allow yourself to get run down...

don't beat up on yourself one whit. You have been by Wiley's side through all this and will continue to do so. After all he is in a place where they can take care of him until he is given back to you. It really sounds like they are looking at everything and he will be fine. I can seem him improving now and that means it will be better for you. You need to get what rest you can while he is away. He knows you love him and want the best for him. Our arms are around you and our prayers go up for you both.

Don't you dare feel badly for coming home early if you felt the need. He would understand that, and you'll do him no good if you stay when you yourself are unwell.
I'm glad you had a good sleep, now get some more. I love you.

I've been checking in, waiting for your post today. I do hope tomorrow will be much better. It sounds like you are taking care of yourself a bit and I think that is so important. Take care of you so you can take care of him. You are very important to Wiley so you better not do anything to risk your own health. Sleep is good and have some good soup too! Rest up while you can and hug that big gray kitty for me.

I continue to wish Wiley all the best...When my father had the renal failure, it was extremely difficult being away from him. Therefore, I know what you are going through.

I'm always glad to get an update--
especially such a positive one! He'll be so much better at home with you, where his heart really is. Good for you, getting some needed rest, too, because as you say, you wont' be able to be there for him, if you're stressed and exhausted. It will ease your stress, too, to have definite things to do for him... physio and stuff. It will ease his, that it's you doing it.
