What a wonderful post, so sweet and blessed.  I'm so happy that you had the strength to go again.  God bless you for it.

This blog is actually somewhat bitter-sweet. It is absolutely wonderful that you spend time with these people, and give all you can to make their lives just a little easier and better. I have no doubt that they all appreciate your time, energy and effort to benefit them. However, at the same time, it's sad for me to read of people in those conditions simply because of their ages. I say that because my mom turns 80 next June, and although she is in wonderful shape physically, her mental capacity is beginning to slip. She lives in Texas with my older sister, and I only get to see her once or twice a year. I call her at least once a week ( sometimes twice ) and the conversations are becoming more and more difficult because of certain aspects of her memory not being what they used to be. Of course I am extremely patient, but it grieves me to see, hear and think of her in a deteriorating condition. Those seniors are very lucky to have someone like you in their lives. Although I know you're tiring a bit, all I can say is . . . keep up the good work!

So nice that they are treated with kindness Justi , it could be so awful in different circumstances. I am sure you give out added happiness and George must be pleased that you are fit enough to accompany him again.

Wow. You must be a very special person to do that that. How amazing to spend time with people like that. How interesting and what a great experience it must be.

I am glad to read that you are able to go back there. The stories you tell about your experience there are so precious.
