Second game was closer!
My interest in the World Series waned when my team lost the playoffs . . . however, both teams that made it have players with Hawaii ties! Shane Victorino of the BoSox is from Maui, and I know his mom pretty well since she worked with my daddy. Kolten Wong of the Cardinals is from the Big Island (the island of Hawaii) and played at the University of Hawaii, so I was fortunate to see him play college ball and to be in the stands screaming his name!
My team may not have made it, but this is still a pretty interesting series for me. I'm rooting for the Sox, though, since I know Shane.

I would prefer to see the championship games closer, although I want Boston to lose. They're my least favorite team.
