Hi there Kabu - have to say, the football they are watching in the other room this evening is rather loud, and stepson's singing today bordered on the falsetto..! .. but things are reasonably settled at the moment.

perhaps some ear plugs or an I-Pod thing with your own music into your ears...You sound as though life is settled at the moment though.

I understand completely. Although the various background sounds may evoke happiness from others, it is difficult to concentrate while it's going on! Enjoy the ballet . . .
