That poor mouse! Ya gotta tell Mr. Graysome that if he's going to do anything like that, he's got to finish the job! There's nothing sadder than a wounded mouse . . .

You should get one of those gadgets that allow one to pick objects up without bending down. I would set a mouse trap under a basket or cage that Mr Greysome could not reach. Actually I hate to see cats tormenting things I think tigers do it as well. I know it is their nature , but it is a pity they just don't give a quick bite like a dog would. Archie use to pick them up in his gloved hand and whack them on the ground a bit barbaric but quick. You could quickly bite the head off it would not be too bad if it was in tissue paper.

that mouse is lucky it was at your house if I saw it it would of been beaten to death. My son came over and got my last captured mouse and told me not to set traps because it was cruel and in humane and I told him and do I look like I care

Kabu,
well, guess none of us are alone... i bought some decon at a home and garden store called bomgaar's yesterday and they had plenty mouse and rat stuff in stock. the gal who checked me out gave a grin as if to say HA HA and said, "yes, it is that time of year." you are brave to catch them in a tissue. not me, though i will pick dead ones up by the tail. i like the way you tell your stories and your little pics are so cute and appropo.

Well you know Kabu that the little guys like to come in when it starts to get cold outside, good thing you have Graysome. My Crybe likes to leave her catch just outside the front door, I think as a sort of rent payment or something like that. We will find the new cat Roxy, a home soon...Thanks Kabu.

I don't like mice, except as cartoons. They carry scary germs
like the Hanta virus, which does evil things to people. It was kind hearted of you to put them out the door, but you do know they know the way back inside... Unless a hawk or some feral hunter outdoors finds them first. Lucky thing Mr. G's on watch...

I don't grieve if it's dead when I see it...
but if it's alive, I put it outside and give it another chance. Mice have no business being so winsome and cute!
Violetta used to catch em and carry them live to the bathtub, then watch them skitter around, trying to get out. We called that, the Mice Capades.
