In my working days I seldom had a vacation, I took the extra pay to feed the family. Now I'm on vacation and have been for 11 years.

I am really glad that with this last Vacation you relaxed and had a laid back week. Your batteries will be charge up for a Winter Smow, salt rush work load.

I think some people have the misconception that, for a vacation to truly be a vacation, you have to actually go somewhere! Not true, as you've proven. Glad your batteries are "recharged" . . .

When I was still working, before I retired, I loved all of my vacations....not because I hated work or anything like that...just that vacations were always quite fun and exciting and filled to the brim with going and doing.

FSI...those vacation weeks, or even a day or two
here and there do a mind and body a lot of good...I very seldom took longer than one week vacations, four of them, when I was working, but that always worked out well....
