I do so agree with you. I have been continuously ministeing to the addicts, those in jail, the elderly and the new Christians who are still in the 'milk of the word' stage in their faith walk for twenty years. I do not mean to be arguing I simply want people to know the real one true God.

The First Thing

Perhaps, before we look at religion we should consider merely living out the principles of truthfulness, consideration for others before ourselves, actualy taking care of the innocent and the helpless and being an example of faith-with-action. Then, perhaps, we can consider the periphreal details of our belief and decide whether any of those details are worth arguing about. We must ask ourselves what is really important. Excellent article you've written.

Perhaps it was just my poor writing. My hope was to clarify some thinking to so many who are writing about Christianity being a fairy tale or that both Islam and or Christianity worship the same God. I am not trying to grab them but to show them the wisdom of man is faulty and one of these is evil and one good. The work of them is clear as glass from Biblical principal that this is a fight between good and evil. I am not sure if this was what you saw. I would like you to post those glitches, I don't want to be false in my presentation about our Lord. I am having a difficult time defending against at least three or four of the last posts. I welcome you to bring me up to clarity. Thanks again.

I read this when you first posted it, and now I read it again.  Sometimes my mind just doesn't come up with a proper (what I think is proper) comment, so I just read a post, think about it, and go on my way for a time.  I got a little hung up on your Subject line meaning.

Such a thoughtful comment thank you so much. Religion is whatever one wants it to be from Devil worship to whatever. Christianity in its Biblical form is a relationship between God our father and us, with Jesus being King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The only true salvation is giving your life over to Jesus to run it. In that position you cannot kill, steal or destroy which are the three marks of Satan's Identity. Thank you so dear one.

Unfortunately every Religion has been used for the purpose of war....BUT Jesus taught love and forgiveness so true Faith cannot hate or destroy. The Koran is NOT the word of Jesus!!! It is used to excuse for World domination...  Thank you for posting the Lords Prayer, how can we feel turmoil when we stay close to our God. xxx

There are a lot calling themselves including the Spanish who were all then Catholic but the crusades was a ploy of the Catholic Church not of just Christians. It makes no difference what one calls himself. If God does not demand one become a Christian who are the others to demand such. We are wanting people to study up and make a choice. However, there has never been Christians getting orders from God to kill. There is a difference in those who call themselves Christians and those who live by the Book. All I am doing here in this post is showing the difference in being governed by Islam or Christians. I lived a long time without the true Christian faith. It is like day and night.

A powerful prayer the Lord's Prayer is.

I understand everything you have stated, but I fear that there might be many who wouldn't. Killing your fellow man based on religious beliefs has got to be one of the lowliest of thought-processes ever devised by people. However, there were periods throughout our history where, yes, even so-called Christians put "non-believers" to death ( e.g. the Spanish Inquisition ). But of course their history is by no means as deep or as devastating as some that are being perpetrated now. It seems there are two mindsets: "Believe in my faith, or be damned!" or "Believe in my faith, or else!" Why does it have to be this way . . . ?
