Ahhh, mothers shopping with kids in tow; tired grans like me could write a v e r y long rant about that, but - fogedaboudit! I love the colorful leaves, partly because they're still clinging to the branches...

It is so good to hear of you happy happy Thanksgiving coming. As you may know I am the cook around here and I found me a new pie baking plate, the blue and white type so I am thinking about baking a pumpkin pie in it from scratch this year...Just need to find the pumpkin. I hope Wiley enjoys his package. I put another glaze coat on and messed it up a bit on the head (sorry) but I would of needed another week to let it cure before resanding and was worried about getting it there in time of need...Hope you like it and I hope it works for Wiley.
