Sounds rather exotic LLM but I expect one develops a taste for certain food, I was only thinking yesterday as I drank a cup of tea, it is a job to attribute the flavour to anything as milk makes it taste entirely different and of course freshly brewed. Stewed tea is absolutely the pits.

Glad you brought home the leftovers! Remember: never waste food! 
And I've never heard of pomegranate iced tea! I hope I get the chance to try that someday . . .
