Re: Physician heal thyself

Setaki mentions gout... I suffered gout attacks that kept me in bed for as much as 3 weeks, if I was so unwise as to eat a couple of little shrimp.  Now I am taking Allopurinal, one a day, and it corrects the uric acid processing problem that leads to gout, and, by the way, some kidney stones.  Now, I can eat shrimp to my heart's content! And it is not even an expensive drug!

Physician heal thyself

Recent 'research' has shown that of all the vitamins and supplements we take, only Omega-3 Fatty Acid really works, especially to ward of strokes and heart attacks because of its anti-blood clotting effects. It is also good for concentration and memory and for your joints. I use these capsules daily for arthritis and to keep my mind sharp so that I don't drive to town in my car and come back home by bus.The Asprin I can't take as it precipitates severe attacks of Gout. May Wiley be up and about and sprightly again.

Although I've never really had any history of health problems, I began taking 81 mg. aspirins every night a long time ago. I think they make a difference. Best of luck to Sir Wiley. He's very lucky to have you there for him . . .

I'm liking this report. Helluva thing to get old, but Wiley will give

old age a run for its money... especially with your love to motivate him.

I am glad the doctor took away the medication way and added the asprin, and we will continue to keep him in our prayers that this is what has been causing the problems.

I love you both so very much, Grandmummy.  And I pray that Alzheimer's will be ruled out.  For now, I pray and keep positive thoughts for you both.

TIA - which leaves no damage but gives you a warning...to be heeded, my bro!! Happy about the test results, and about the 'chauffeur'.
