It is easy to do when you are thinking of other things

A question I have to ask is a multiple choice  What are his blood sugars are they high for no apparent reason, is his mobility slower, is his concentration slower and taking longer to answer question and if he is on coumadin is hs PT/INR getting higher when it has been stable for weeks/months. Any unusual bruising, excessive for the situation.   I have found from personal and professional experience these to be silent signs and symptoms of a infection.  Usually URI or UTI.  Good thing he is going to his PCP soon.  Sendin Ligt and Love your way.

Kabu

I let George read this and we prayed for both of you. George told me I over reacted. ( I am sorry) His point was a good one. He said,"God brought him through and back home. Both of them learned some lessons from the experience. It was good and it was God. Wiley and Jesus are good friends."  He also offered that he could slow down a tad until meds were checked. We love you guys!

This frightens me, Grandmummy...though please don't tell Poppy so.  I don't want to upset him.  He's been so unwell for so long now.  I wish I could come to you.  Maybe I will in the spring.   me if you need anything.

I know there are several people who have had similar incidences, regardless of their age. Some people's minds can only handle so much at one time. Perhaps when he is better rested, a task like that won't be as complicated. I do understand your concern though. It's never easy . . .

I was confused when I read Wiley's post about being lost, whether

it was a real trip or a dream. The anxiety he was feeling came through very clearly. I thought of oxygen deprivation since my kids' dad had those kinds of episodes. He also had panic attacks - which now that I think of it were like Wiley's experience. You are so wonderful with this stuff, but I hope you two and your medical team get it figured out soon so you don't have to be. Wiley commented on my closet story that I should just wait until he's better, and he'll come down and do the install. I think he's doing better!

I thought it was a dream of Wiley's Kabu. I don't think it is wise to drive until this is sorted even if it means taking a taxi. Tablets and stress not a good mixture as you know probably more than I do. Just take it easy for a day or two if you can.

I feel this is very serious. I have stopped driving for reasons somewhat like that at times. You may want to listen to Nautikos. I am Wiley's age and life is very different in the simple things. A year or even six months  can bring about a real change in normal habits. I have had reactions to meds in the last year. I have immediate access to my doctor  immediately or next day or hospital. Something is not right here. I have had BP counts 200/ and over for more than a week. I have seen the doc, had some test got a new med and later she called in a change in the BP med in an hour. I am so much better. See if someone else will see him. We love you two so much. We shall have a real prayer call out to friends to pray.

I am wondering if Naut has suggested something to be looked into - I know it's hard to change docs when you have had the same one for so long, but I am still scratching my head about the waiting a month with the new medication.... My daughter has anxiety attacks - I'll ask her if she gets disoriented. Anyway, having you beside him and you knowing what to ask and how to react can only be a comfort to you both.

Kabu, I don't know if you and especially our Wiley like to hear it, but I would definitely recommend seeing another doc! The problem is that this kind of disorientation could potentially be very dangerous, especially if he's driving, and the last thing he needs is an accident...

I have just come from Wilies post, I have had some similar problems in the past which I told him about, as my problems steamed from drug and alcohol abuse. I do not know if this is what he is going through, but it may be worth a trip to the neurolgist.

I know how distressing being confused can be.  I hope you can determine what might be causing these things to occur..I continue to  pray for Wiley!

Here is to hoping that Wiley feels better.

You are so good for anyone in an emergency or when advice is needed, or encouragement, or soothing.  I know that you have been trained for that, but you are definitely that kind of person anyway.  Someday, sooner or later, I will be wanting someone just like you to take care of me.
