I start my day with 3oz of sliced turkey from Costco, along with mt yogurt and nuts and fruits. That bit of protein really keeps my blood sugar even for hours!

I don't think you were being ungrateful . . . just showing your frustration, which is normal. Hope Sir Wiley is doing better now. Sometimes a light snack is just what the doctor ordered . . .

Kabu...

Eating small meals instead of three large ones is exactly what the hospital told me when I was released...and make sure lots of protein...it works...I am slowly putting some weight back on...sorry to hear you and Wiley had to go through this episode....

I think your blog post was definitely something...

but it is frustrating when you stare at the text box on Blogit and your mind is as blank as that thing... The smaller frequent meals keep your metabolism burning calories faster, not superfast so you lose a pound a week, but fast enough that the weight doesn't keep piling on - even if there weren't low blood sugar episodes. But you knew that.  Keep writing your 'nothing' bits - I look forward to them.

Probably a good idea to eat smaller meals, I suppose it is trial and error. You could try a bananna for a quick snack. Sorry you lost your post most annoying, although it is sometimes still on there if you press the back arrow once or twice. As Jay suggests if you write into Word first it makes life easier.

This is a very good post dear lady. You are taking such good care of Wiley as he is of you according to his ability. We are so praying for both of you and wanting you both well and able to live in total joy. Love!

At my age, I am finding that small meals or nutritious snacks every two or three hours are what I need for keeping my BS normal.  Large meals just make me uncomfortable til they wear off.

It is always a good feeling to see the light come back, as for the post thing, I always cut and past from word, that way I have a copy just incase.

I read somewhere that was the best way to eat anyway - small meals more often - eat when you are hungry sort of thing.Thankful that the bro is married to a nurse!
