You want to borrow one of my pillows I have four in my bed since I can never find the right pillow. Do they make a decent pillow?

Yes, it's good that you stay informed on what's going on in your homeland, but it doesn't sound as though all of the news is good! In fact, in some ways, quite the contrary . . .

I have memory foam on my bed, but over a firm mattress, and like it. Maybe if you had stopped pushing Wiley out of bed.....

It usually takes me awhile to get used to a new bed...I did not know that Australia has an illegal immigration problem.

I did not like the woman you had in there before. Hope this one does better. We bought a memory mattress a few years back and I don't agree with it's memories. I don't like memory pillows either, where are my squishy feather ones?

I don't care for the political news in Oz, Grandmummy, but believe it or not, your country is very near and dear to my heart also...and always will be.

the memory foam takes some getting used to.
I have a slab of it, and a new futon mattress that replaces the piece of memory stuff over the standard type foam. I've been experimenting every night with new arrangements, trying to find comfort. Right now, the old foam is out, and the memory foam is under the futon, above the slats. It keeps the futon from sinking in the middle, as it did with the old kind of foam. This is the first day in several that I haven't torn apart the bed to find a new arrangment. But we'll see.
I love to hear what's going on in Australia! We don't hear enough about it, generally, to have any sense of it, and I think we should. New Zealand, too.

Okay then, I shall hold off on the memory matress...And re Oz: from what I knew of her foreign policies (which is the only thing that ever interests me), anything is an improvement over Ms. what's-her-name...

Ah, so the new bed's not all it's promised to be...
I think another pillow, if that's all it takes, is a pretty good deal. It always takes some time for me to adjust to another. Good thing nobody's rolling off the edge, anyway. And like you, I still keep an eye on what's going on in Seattle - my "Australia" - even though I've been back here for nearly ten years...
