It is funny how we get in tune with our surroundings.

Re: JimmyA

There is not one unless one considers the frantic beeping to indicate the vehicle to back up to be steady and constant.

What do you do if the beeps are out of sequence?

(Airplane II:  Soldier: Those lights are blinking out of sequence.
                   Buck Murdock: I see.
                   Soldier: What should we do?
Buck Murdock: Make them blink in sequence.)

Now, what might a steady, constant beep indicate . . .?

Well good to know the code FS. You don't want to have to keep checking your notes.

Re: lustorlove

Location C uses a traffic light that has the words on it telling the customer what to do. Location B uses arrows. Location B's can be confusing to customers, but it is one of those things that the customer base has learned how it works.

how do the customers figure it out?

Our car wash here buzzes very loud, and there are also electronic signs that flash to tell you when to enter, when to stop, and what is happening.

fsi, i actually followed your links this time... seems they go back interminably... smart move on your part... you're lucky to go to the ravens games... a lot of people don't get that opportunity... the beeps remind me of pavlov's dogs...
