Believe me, I understand your feelings completely. You're not human if you can watch these events and not feel at least somewhat heartbroken. Of course human lives are more important than property, but how much can these people take? Yes, I live here in Jersey and am well aware of the latest destruction to befall us at the shore. The really sad part is that these people had literally just finished rebuidling that part of the boardwalk that was ruined by Hurricane Sandy. And now they have to start all over . . . again! I too wish I had some kind of magic wand to wave and help these people. For now it's all we can do to keep them in our prayers and help any way we can . . .

always praying here... i thought it interesting all the bad news yesterday or whenever... floods, fires, toronados and then the GOOD news... we've reached beyond our universe... sort of seemed like God was judging us for trying to reach too far beyond what we ever were meant to reach... or maybe i'm in the dark ages...

My SIL is there right in the middle of it all, but she is okay as is the house, it is plenty wet here as well, but no floods...Knock on wood. Our prayers are out there.
