I have always done well with sugar myself, but my dad always had a little brown bottle of saccharine in his pocket for his coffee...It is now one of my dearest possessions, that little brown bottle still filled with the saccarine he put in it.

CThink of it as a positive new image. With all your gnomes around, Wiley will look like Santa Claus with that walking stick. However, he could be mistaken for a belsnickel. Then naughty gnomes better watch out; they better not cry. In any event Wiley will always be his lovable self. I wish him safe and healthy love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Something is tweaking Wiley, Kabu. I had a fit of dizziness once ,it was inner ear and some pills soon put it right. I suppose there are hundreds of different little things and it just means finding the right one. Have you ever looked Wiley's symptoms up on the net. I am sure other folk suffer in this way. I hope you get your rest with the new mattress it sounds a good idea. Of course you have spoiled your little friend and I expect he knows every crook and cranny. It is like cutting a tree down in your garden to him, but as you say we all have to give and take. You did say that?

artificial sweetener is the worst...especially if heated....i read somewhere it has all kinds of side effects...try agave which is natural and dont need much of it though it is expensive

I almost hate to say it but, sometimes it seems as though the "tests" they are putting poor Sir Wiley through are what's making him so tired and unbalanced! Hopefully the cane will help. And yes, as cat owners, my wife and I understand Mr. Graysome's attitude completely! One of these days he's going to kick you both out of that bed and exclaim "Mine!" Silly kitty . . .

A walking stick's a great idea...

Funny how much more confident we feel by just hanging onto something. Something I read in the AARP magazine - as we get older the fatty pads on the bottoms of our feet, especially the heels, tend to thin out, and can cause some discomfort - gel heel pads can fix that and help with balance.

Glad Wiley's heart is good. Artificial sweetners can affect the brain.

Stevia is the best alternative because it is natural.

I love a man using a walking stick.  I think they look so distinguished.  Even if a man doesn't really "need" it, they look so debonaire tapping along, twirling it, doing a quick bit of soft-shoe.  My Dad got himself a special one made by wood carvers at Branson/Silver Dollar City as soon as he was retired and had time to do things.  He always wore a hat and carried that walking stick and had a mischievous grin on his face.

It's excellent new that Wiley's ticker is in good condition! That's more than half the battle...L-o-l may have a point about that sweetener, but it occurs to me that Wiley might possibly suffer from an unrecognized allergic reaction to something else...

Excellent news about the heart!!!!!!!!! One worry out...and yes, time to look outside the box. I, too, think the bro would look debonair with a cane.

I did not think about the sweetener being a possibility. You have a nice weekend as well!

I have not been on reading and writing much lately but still praying. If you want to see the limits Mr. Graysome will go too get him a little sister or brother cat. Our Mercy is having such fits and the little brother has been around for months. Oh was that you and Wiley in the Video that went viral because someone caught a near elderly couple trying out a mattress with very athletic moves in a Canadian mattress store? I couldn't see the faces but tell me it isn't you.

I think Wiley will look as suave as an English Royal with the top hat and cane. LOVE YOU BOTH.

I am hoping and praying that an answer is found for Wiley and you, sometimes modern medicine leaves a little to be desired, and poor Mr Graysome will soon enough get used to the new digs...Cats, you got to love em. on the other hand, or side or what ever, I do make canes and walking sticks, and I have one I just finished that Wiley might like...Here is a photo...Let me know.
