i just loved the california car washes... in l.a. the car capital of the world... such busy places... EVERYBODY gets their car washed in california it seems...

They are a bit slow putting salt on our roads FS. and repairing them, it all costs money,

They use a lot of salt here too, making rust a real problem if you don't get it washed off of your car.

Although the salt is important for clearing the ice from the roadways, it is definitely hell on the cars! Many a vehicle gets a dose of early rust because of that salt on the roads! A tough dilemma . . .

we really dont have a salty season as it snows and its gone shortly after words.  SInce I have been here I dont recall salt on the roads

I am so slow today that I kept thinking that you were talking salt in and on food and having something to do with cooking and eating.  Duh!  When I finally realized you were talking about salty mess on cars, I felt pretty stupid.  LOL

we wash all the residue off our cars during the winter with the hands free wash but because we aren't on the road all the time, we space our visits. Good post.

In my area salt is not allowed; they put down sand instead. Even it will stick to cars, and a wash is necessary. I can see why it would be your high season.
