Justi
I well remember the term 'righteous' frequently found in the Bible (yes, I have read it, LOL), and it certainly applies to you and George...

Our people do the same Justi. Some are able to roam the streets at night and give hands on help; others finding that kind of closeness with the homeless and addicts difficult, cook, or gather articles badly needed, or raise money...each does his/her part. The group I worked with was backed by Father Emmett Johns, a slightly renegade priest from the Catholic Church, who won the order of Canada for all his effort and hard work. You are right; it is our duty to help if we can. You and George are shining examples of what love and caring can do.

Well it seems a lot of good work goes on in your area Justi. Perhaps more goes on here than one realizes, I sincerely hope so. I am sure it brings you happiness

This entry well-describes what Christianity is all about.

Perhaps it may be somewhat easier to think of it as just people coming to the aid of other people, regardless of their faith. It seems that sometimes we run into trouble as a species when we start subdividing ( Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, etc. ) We're all humans . . .
