Cool! I'm enjoying having more freedom on the weekend myself, though I have been using the weekends to catch up now that i am writing instead of cooking.

I understand that you wish to see your Favens play at home...seems Dad does too.

I'm sure your Dad appreciates your availability, and that he'll be happy to let you attend your Ravens games.

Re: FSI

I feel that the Ravens will win their division and get to at least the second round (Divisional) of the playoffs.

You and your Father have a beautiful relationship, one that is getting more and more rare in this modern world. Thank you so much for your kind and caring words, you are such a good man and I pray that God be with you always, as you have always been there for not only your family, but this Blogit family as well. You are a very good man FSI and all of us here on Blogit, and there in Baltimore know it.

I also think it is great that you have this type of relationship with your dad. You both seem to be flexible and logical.

My thoughts lead to the fact that you are a teacher.  Teachers have weekends, nights and holidays off.  You like that and prefer that.  This will bring cognitive dissonce for you eventually.  You will step up if needed or asked, yet this is not your natural inclination.

You may need to ponder, if your Dad gets anything that prevents him long term from handling the business, will you want to give up both or a Saturday or Sunday? Service jobs are demanding without good hours.

It's good that you and your dad have that kind of relationship where you can discuss all of the options and possibilities without either one being overly demanding! Being "flexible" is what a lot of bosses look for in employees, whether they're related or not . . .
