I know exactly what you mean my dear... I did something similar last summer with my grandkids... planted the seeds of a watermelon we ate way back in my yard... in a month the darn thingies had taken over my loan and I ended up having to ...hmmm... extermitate them. Never got to taste one of the melons though... I am glad George figured out a way to "hang" the pesky striped balls loll... Be well darling xoxoxo

Justi how lovely I can't wait to see the photos.
I have grown melons but they always taste really more like marrows.
Next year with luck I'll try some in my plastic tunnel as marrows are doing so well in there. You must have good fertile ground , well done.

Well, I've never thought of watermelons as being sexy ( fishnet stockings or no ), but they do sound delicious . . . !

I really want to see those Melons in their fish net glad rags....LOL but I love watermelon and could have told you that melons of all kinds, pumpkins of all kinds tomato plants and cucumbers all vine and George is going to have lots of stakes and little people just hanging around.
I am just off to bed and this has me chuckling as I go!!!
