I love the black eyed susan's as well they are so pretty! But I am a flower person anyway, I love lot, and lots of color in my yard.

My wife loves them too! In certain areas of our flower beds, we just let nature take over, and whatever grow, grows! You'd be surprised what springs up . . . !

One of my favorites too. I'm fortunate - they grow wild here so require no help from me. Love the picture!

The black-eyed-susans were my mother's favorites. I always think of her when I see them.

It is neat to know what plants grow in different places...The Black-Eyed Susan is the official State Flower of Maryland.

Kabu
I love stories about your flowers and photos of course. Those grow wild all over the South on road sides etc., but we love them and pick them to add to bouquets. I am happy that you are happy here or there rather. I forget that we are two countries the US and Canada.

They are a happy group, aren't they? Sunflowers are fun, too.

Well nothing like the Black Eyed Susies I have ever seen are you sure they are not black eyed Kabu's. Having said that they are quite nice and I would not mind them hanging out in an odd spot or two. Seriously though I expect different countries have different flowers with the same or similiar nicknames. The one I know is a climber, but I am tiring of this conversation as it is one sided and I never argue with a lady.
