Thankfully most of my corners are hugging forgotten toothbrushes etc. More worrying one of the floor boards appears to be unstable and I wonder if all the dry weather has made the boards shrink. Perhaps I should nail the carpet to the floor or spray the carpet with water. If it is dry rot I shall have to move into the haunted room Eek!

As well you should. Your Wiley is quite the man with wood and I can just imagine how beautiful his work on this piece of furniture is...Perhaps a picture for the rest of us old wooden guys?

Completing a job like that is very satisfying, indeed! Based on the comments here, it seems like you've inspired more than a few people to clean their own corners (myself included).

It's amazing sometimes the "treasures" you find behind certain furniture. There's a dresser in our cat's room that needs to be checked behind at least once a week for missing mice, balls, bits of twine, small Frisbees, plastic caps, and anything else we may have been playing with that week. After dusting them off, it's back to the hunt . . .

Ambition awakened by a moth? Now don't that just beat all?
I always feel morally superior to myself when I've finally gotten at cleaning something I have ignored for far too long. :)

Hahaha!! Great picture! It's always amazing to find the stuff that falls behind things...and we never seem to miss until we clean and find it again.
