It seems like there has been nothing but destruction and tragedy on the news these past few weeks, but these were shockers for sure! I've got my fingers crossed for your upcoming bank adventures!

Sad. The credit union I use are great. Here in Florida an account can be opened with $5.00.

It's a bit too close to home, sam.. we've just flown back NY and experienced the worst turbulence eithef of us has had in over twenty years of flying.  You have to wonder at the miracle of engineering that keeps such enormous planes in the air... or not, as the case may be.  I feel very lucky, and I feel for those who were killed and injured.

Yes, it was a bad day! It strikes me it's extemely fortunate that only two people did in that SF crash! The death toll at Lac-Megantic isn't known yet...

Always a bad day for some, Sam our problems seem enormous but can soon be cut down to size. Try not to worry.

It's terrible to repeatedly consider how fragile life really is . . .

That is sad about the plane crash...I have heard a lot of good things about credit unions.

the tragedy here in Precott was the first time I lived in a town with so much hurt and pain from this terrible accident

It's still safer than driving.  It was terrible about the 2 incidents and a whole town being wiped out in one unexpected tragedy.  I felt for them too.  I hope you have  smooth flights and that you get some useful information on Thursday.

I'm with you in sending good vibes to travelers and wishing them

safe travel. Thank heavens most of what we worry about never happens.

I really can't say much about the flying - I 'm not much good at defending it - but I like Ciel's view. And you're right - there are so many unusual and,  unfortunately, devastating events going on around us.

Everyday it seems that there is another tragedy...How much is short cuts for profit I don't know But yes prayers have been sent for the innocent folks caught up in the tragedies.

I am sure that your Bank is working within the law...I just think that I will come down and go talk with those real Esate agencies....They do not want Kabu on their doorstep.

Take comfort from the likelihood

that after a major accident, everyone in SF will be being especially careful.
