Hmmm . . . not all short cuts are all they are cracked up to be!

Sinome..thanks again...

I think the two poems sort of flowed out of the same mindset..hot, humid, stormy weather seems to do that...

Good to see you back...yes, I think you're right on...its the living we have to watch out for...and maybe a few of the dead who haven't realized it yet....

TAPS...

Thanks very much....You're right..those old cemeteries with the huge headstones and maybe even some gargoyles, do make great places for picture taking...

Bill...

I haven't actually taken a shortcut through a graveyard during a storm, but I have on a cloudy, ominous day, and that was scary enough...

Pat..

Those drawings are scary...then there's the statues looming out of the fog...maybe they could use my little poem as a voice over....

sam..I'm not sure I'd have the nerve...

to cut across a graveyard as a shortcut, just as a storm was about to break loose...I guess it would depend on how severe the storm was....

Rumor

Storms and thunderstiorms look and feel scary enough, runnuing or more often, being caught in them. So running from one in a cemertary past tombstones in a cemetarry, running past tombstones muist feel frightening sir. BC-A, Bill's Rst

I can just see those drawings from Masterpiece Mystery Theater

on PBS as I read your verse.

Th would be an eerie shortcut! More than I would like to experience! You set the scene rather nicely, too! sam
