I like his attitude with the corrupt regs. Electricity may be less expensive in the longrun and give them less to make you spend money on.

We used to use oil Kabu but it became too expensive and blackened the ceiling and it still comes through twenty years later . I am sure Wiley will give them some stick and await the outcome with relish.

I get like that too but if the gas company tells you something you better fix it or you wont have any gas. They red tag everything that is even close to being wrong

I am with Taps, Wiley should just zap them and not have to go through all the fuss. Your place will be blooming all over and beautiful in no time.

Scoundrels. Thieves. Nasty prevaricating grifters.
There's plenty of real work that needs doing, enough to keep the paychecks coming legitimately, they don't need to be pulling such crap. If you do end up going all electric, it might be an idea to have a wood-burning stove or fireplace in case of an outage. I hear there are some deep frosts up there in North Camelot. :)

If you are going electric, I do believe there is a grant to help out financially with the switch. Check it out with your power company. We need more Wileys around - then maybe the Companies would not assume they can tell us just anything and rip us off.

There is no end to the shenanigans of people trying to rip other people off, and not nearly enough people who stand up for themselves. I think Wiley should get himself a taser and instead of having to fuss at them just zap them when they get out of line.

I am glad Wiley put it to them, they needed it. Years ago when I had my body shop the fire department came to inspect and told me I had to put sheet rock over my cinder block walls because the gasses could build up in those little hole and cause a disaster. I asked them if they thought thirty years would be long enough in a body shop like this to do some harm. OH yes the inspector said. That's when I said "duck!" as I put my torch to the wall...They left without another word. The next week I got my letter saying I passed.

Cold and wet it may be, but you won't need that electric heater
as long as Wiley's all het up over the manipulative practices of the commercial and political world.

I am glad that Wiley is sticking up to that Oil Company...I know that you both are going to win.

I understand and agree with him. It is frustrating dealing with these companies and their ways of dealing with customers. Satisfying the customer seems to have vanished.

Please give Poppy a hug for me, Grandmummy? Also, would you please email me with his email address? I'm afraid your silly grandbaby has lost it! Oh, and happy birthday to...Martin, I assume? I love you.

Yep, I expect some fireworks at your place, although Queen V.'s birthday is over, LOL...And even down here in the (usually) balmy South it's rather chilly, and the furnace had to be turned on. I had better go and check to make sure it's far enough from the wall...
