Wow! You should have seen my dogs' reaction to that sound! They went racing to the door barking, then raced back to check out the speakers, still barking a warning. It was hilarious, so I played it again. They'll probably pay me back later...eat a pillow or something. My kids loved the ice cream truck chimes. It wasn't playing Xmas music either, sounded more like a cash register to my ears. Haha on your display of opinion!!

What a bizarre sound! I would never have guessed that it was a fox! And the few ice cream trucks that pass by us play some ridiculous chiming music that is so obnoxious and so repetitious that I honestly don't know what keeps the driver/salesman from blowing is head off . . .

Absolute silence in the woods delivers a chill all its own.
When you can hear your own breath moving in and out and your own heart beats a drum in your ears, the sound of a twig snapping somewhere behind you can set you running...

I don't know which would frighten me more Ciel the Foxy love song or you hollering at me if I was an ice cream vendor.

I had to laugh at your last paragraph.
I'm not sure what our ice cream trucks play, but it definitely is not Christmas music.
