Re: lustorlove

In Maryland it is a fine, probation (varies depending on what a person gets on the Breathalyzer) and a tour through Shock Trauma, a hospital where the people experience severe injuries. That is the first time. A lot varies for subsequent DUI's depending on who one is and who their lawyers are.

hmm seems a wee bit severe, I dont recall how old he is, but hope he can get his license back, damn what does your state do if you get a DUI?

One really has to monitor their diabetes, especially if they take insullin injections.  It is not always easy for a person to do that, and sometimes, diabetics just don't want to mess with it.

It's sad that Uncle Richard lost his license, but it would be worse if he lost his life or killed someone because he's not looking after himself properly! He should treat this as a wake-up call...

Lost His License

I am so sorry to hear that your Uncle Richard lost his license due to the diabetic reaction.  Even though we diabetics know what we should and should not eat, sometimes things just happen.  As in his not keeping a good regular eating schedule.  I pray he gets his livense back and soon. LBJ

I am sorry that this happened to your Uncle Richard

you are right, he should know how to care for himeself by now. I am not sure that he will get his licence back...or perhaps he will get a restricted one..just to work and back.

A bit silly FS, but don't tell him if you do say it was Kabu.

A touchy disease is diabetes, the most common problem being denial, which leads to not being careful. Maybe Uncle will be more careful with his health in the future because of this event. A reason for everything.

MThis is too high or low blood sugar. He'd need more testing his nblood glucose level with a personal hand meter. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
