kabu

we are so much alike, i carried a lady bug into the theatre the other evening and when it flew off i worried how will it ever find its way out.,,,,,it must be in the drinking water kabu as we all seem to be catching it.

sounds like you were kept very busy on your travels and it always nice to see that even though we do not that everyone else is aging, lol

Yes, one has to always be careful when it comes to disturbing anything connected to Mother Nature, whether it's a mother spider or a nosy woodpecker! And remember . . . you can choose your friends but not your relatives! But at least with relatives ( pompous or not ) you can always choose not to associate with them too . . .

I know what you mean, Kabu. I don't like snakes, don't want them sharing my space, but I wouldn't harm them. I actually like spiders.

Kabu...

I'm not sure I would have had the patience you showed with the spiders.  They are certainly out in full force.  I've been out once already this morning and discovered a huge web on the driver's side of the car, with the spider's actual abode being behind the side view mirror...now the first time I drive at night, you-know-who will crawl out into the car...and scare me good....

I know Kabu they should just stay like we do, people say I look ten years younger now I am taking steroids. Of course I did not see you when you were younger but then I expect you  looked more worried.

Kabu

So very glad you are home and posting. It is brave to save the spider you fear. I love to hear your gardening tales. As to those aging, honey I meed people I haven't seen in years and I wonder what happened to them. Of course I am seeing me daily and have no idea how shocked they are that I am older than dirt now. Be blessed.

Kabu

I certainly approve of your not harming that spider mom-to-be - I like spiders! They're not only useful, but make great pets - well, some of 'em do! And I know what you mean by everyone getting older - I don't understand it, 'cause I ain't...

That was very nice of you not harming the mother spider. I try to avoid harming bugs as well...Reading about the changes in fifty years has me wondering what my friends and I will be talking about in five decades.

Kabuiepie-;)~

Yes, I agree when you comment about you being even more protective of the animals. You didn't even bat and eye when I told you about the squirrels eating all the insulation on the underside of the car hood to make her nest. The l'il sucker caused at least $250.00 damage to repair that. But never mind, I trained a fox while you were away......he he he he

I love it when grandparents talk about their darling adorable grands...

They glow, they smile, they look years younger. Sounds like a wonderful visit in spite of the put-on airs of some...

And I bet your were the best looking grandmother there aside from being the most "kind hearted, too!" Glad you had a wonderful time.
