I suppose it would depend on which frame of mind you were in at the time the wind whispered around you. I think I would be more apt to feel that it was something positive and special . . .

TAPS...

Yes, we heard about your new snowfall, and I'm sure that old wind was whispering "snow..snow..snow" all day long...hope the snow melts off quickly and there's no more coming down the 'pike....

All day long it has been whispering "Snow!"   And, the flakes have been dancing in the wind and are beginning to collect as if the wind means what it whispers.

Pat...the whispering wind in the pines, with the accompanying scent...

is truly an entity in itself - somewhat creepy and somewhat romantic, all in one...

Thanks, FSI...

I wonder what we would learn if we could understand the whispering wind....

Whisper wind is best through pines, there it sighs and carries

scent. I used to think it was caused by the earth's rotation on its axis.

I like the personification of the wind here in this poem.
