Shoulder injuries can be a real pain in the arm, LOL, quite apart from the shoulder, as I've found out, and I do hope he gets over it quickly. And unfortunately I know about muffin-tops as well...

Oh no . . . my wife is a wonderful cook! We just don't pig out at every meal. We both know the benefits of keeping our weight down, and we strive to do just that! No new wardrobes for me . . .

LOL - and the denial of it. I know how he feels. I hated when My jean size went up. That is a miserable fracture, with not much one can do except take pain pills, and hope it heals decently.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about that! My pants ( all of them ) fit just fine! And I almost hate to say this but, not too long ago I saw a commercial for a lady's undergarment that is a combination of a bra and tummy girdle called a Muffin Top! For a second I thought you were going to tell me that your son now has to wear one of these . . . !

Sons are so great, muffin top and all. But with my gut being as it is,
it wouldn't do to have a button I couldn't undo by myself, quickly. Hope he's better soon.

I suppose it is easier for a Mother Nurse to take care of anyone than her own little boy who has grown up and has the normal man pride issues. He is fine. He will be fine and don't you worry one whit so he says. But despite his words of resistance he wants Mama to see that he is doing well. I'll just send up a little prayer for both of you.

I wonder how my weight will change over the years...The title automatically got me thinking about Trendy Top. In case anyone wonders how I, a guy, knows about that, I watched America's Most Wanted when it moved from Fox to Lifetime.

Those extra pounds have a habit of sneaking up on us...I had that problem until last year's surgery when I lost about 12 pounds...
