Thanks Jimmy... not too extreme I hope. I studied Shakespeare at school and at university, so I tend to find things pop into my mind at appropriate times...!

Well, you know things are getting extreme when you start quoting Shakespeare! The only thing I can suggest right now is to take one thing at a time . . . your kids, your "bloke," the trip, everything. When you pile too much on your plate, things tend to "spill" a little, and that's never a good thing! I think you'll know what to do . . .

I just needed to work through my thoughts and feelings before I went to sleep... and guess who has booked the taxi this morning? I've found he generally realises he's pushed me a bit far and does something to put it right.. so perhaps I shouldn't worry so much..

Yep, looks like it. But while I am willing to make (I would hope useful) suggestions when it comes to your kids, when it involves your bloke I must invoke my principle of never getting involved in others people's matters of the heart...
