Justi,

Happy Blogit anniversary. I know you and George are a blessing to so many through your ministries. You were one of the first blogs I read and enjoyed when I first joined Blogit. Please don't stay away too long! You will be missed.

I am afraid I have lost my faith in God and whenever I went to church I feel people are hypocrites including my mom

Oh Justi... you are certainly entitled to rest with all the good work you do but please know that there are many of us that admire and love you.  As you know I am not Christian but I feel the honesty and the fervor of your beliefs in every word you write and it gives me hope and confort to know that there are people like you around :-)  Be well my friend.  xoxoxo

We have blogged for about the same length of time luv. I just don't write about Jesus or religions much, that's just the way I have to be.I do know that Jesus Christ got me sober 46 years ago. That is how I talk about my 'Christianity' and never argue in here about it. God Bless you and George with much love.

Though not a Christian, I have nothing at all against Christians or Christianity, as you know, and I know that you and George are doing fantastic work, as do many Christians.

Neither do I think that Christians specifically are cowards in confronting Islam; I think, rather, that we collectively (and I obviously exclude myself, LOL) are unwilling to deal adequately with the threat of Islam for a great number of reasons, 'cowardice' probably being the least important one. I think more important are things like simple ignorance, the diease of 'political correctness', and the desperate need to be 'nice' at all cost...

If I may be blunt, I wouldn't worry too much about such discussions. You believe what you want to believe, feel like you want to feel, and do what you want to do. It's all subjective anyway! And showing kindness to strangers or the needy or underpriviledged shouldn't be restricted to any one religious group, or any group of people for that matter. This would be a much better world if more people thought and did as you and your husband do . . .

I think it is wonderful to have the faith which you have Justi. You do good and that is the beautiful part of life. Some believe and  do nothing to help others who may be suffering misfortune. I am happy to have made your acquaintance .

Happy Blogit anniversary. I am thankful that you are a part of the Blogit community. What you write about Christianity makes a lot of sense to me.

$S I’ve been an escort at a homeless family overnight at the Presbyterian Church in town. When I asked he sent and allowed me to print the transcript of his sermon at the town 9/11 memorial community service. There’s a film plot of a job corps for the poor run by a church love.  BC-A, Bill’s R®st
