Re: cc
one should never delete themselves. i love the outrageous or the inrageous, doesnt matter, if the written or spoken stabs or cuts to the quick, it is generally because it is true, i believe the truth hurts more than a lie, so when i am stabbed or cut i reexamine myself and find the truth that hurts and maybe it saves me from something.
i am always looking for good advice

Re: fsi
i do my walks not so much for me, but for my dogs as i feel they need to go more than i do. i was wondering because i almost remember hearing that exercise before bed might keep you up as exercise can energize a person.

Funny one can say outrageous things when speaking directly to someone but the written word stabs, or cuts to the quick. Well unless you are woman speaking to a woman.
So I have just deleted all my good advice which I was quite proud of, well done,

Switching around the timing of your walks might just do the trick. I am not certain though because I do not walk before bed.

Re: jimmy
yes, i think i need to stay out on my walk till i feel tired. but i as i start working more that will help too. i will start making extra principle payments every month, cant beat a 2.5 interest rate, that helps too.

well some people can handle credit cards without getting into trouble, the home equity is just a credit card with a large limit.

Re: taps
they are just a credit card with way to much money on it, so you end up paying the interest till you die. but i was smart enough that i didnt get a reverse mortage, they just plain steal your home.

Actually, a long, moonlight stroll may be the exact thing you need to get a good night's sleep! Some fresh air and a little exercise could just be the ticket! And I must admit, I'm so thankful that my wife inherited her childhood home from her father, lock, stock & barrel, which means no mortgage! I think you'll own that home long before you reach 84 . . .

Just had a big wet problem with my basement, the 4th since I've been in this house, so have decided to bite the dollar bullet and get it fixed. I've been thinking of a home equity loan because it's an expensive project - thanks to you I'll be doing something else. :)

I don't think those home equity loans are all they are cracked up to be. I know several people not at all pleased with the way they turned out.

Re: sam
it has certainly been an adventure trying to hang on to this place. adventures are good, and you are right about having a shelter.

With the way the housing market has been over the last several years it's hard to know what to do! There is concern for another fallout in the market because investors are buying up the property in cash which will create a problem down the road! I think the greatest part is that you have shelter! sam
