Hi Naut - I can see your point, with the winter we've just had (and are still having!).  I think one has to be a die-hard fan to drink it in the winter... lots of ice, a generous piece of lime (gently squeezed over the ice of course), a good measure of Bombay Sapphire, and a 70ml can of Schweppes tonic water, to just fill the glass.. perfect.

Uh, oh! It's sounds as though you're starting to enjoy those unexpected baths! I don't drink, nor do I think I've ever actually had a gin & tonic in my life, if you can believe that!

Six foot six is hard to manage in hospital beds for tall patients.  It seems like there are more and more tall people these days.
