- Go to And in Pennsylvania: Army says Evangelicals = al-Qaeda...
i am just wondering,
was there ever a time that religion was not fought over or for? when i was a kid watching the old west movies, i really dont remember to much religion, but then again maybe the homesteaders were silently praying when the indians were attacking.

It is like foxhunting Naut, some think it is essential and being kind to the species. The others think it is cruelty and should never be allowed.

And once again, here is proof of what I've been saying for years . . . organized religion is the worst thing to ever happen to mankind. Not the belief in God, but the belief that MY religion is right and correct and absolute, and YOUR religion is not! Millions and millions of people have been killed over the past couple of thousand years or so simply because of religious differences! And yes, even the Christians have had a hand in those conflicts and persecutions as well ( have we forgotten the Spanish Inquisition? ) Someone ( I'm not going to name who ) made a wonderful claim when he said that there should have been an 11th Commandment . . . Keep Thy Religion to Thyself! Hey, you can believe anything you want to believe, and I'll do the same! But it shouldn't be anything to fight over, or go to war over . . .

I thought the article was interesting when I first read it,
and had one of those brief talks with myself about the shoe being on the other foot, and how do you like your blue-eyed boy now, Mr. Death. As for that famous spokesman, Dr. Hashish, you were lucky to get a quote from that busy individual...
