Part of the process of growing is being able to look back, see your mistakes and understand how you have improved, you do this well

For me it's about the growing pains for your beginning! You realized you could become part of the solution and not the problem! Sometimes we can be told that over and over without impact but once we go through we are all the better for it! sam

FSI
You have spent a long time working on yourself diligently. Due diligence is a skill you have learned to apply to yourself to be the success you are at your business.

There always seems to be a need for balance. There are situations that call for assertiveness, and situations that may require a little back peddling. One must pick and choose . . .

I have no doubt that you have made up for some of the things you did wrong in the past.

That's very big of you to be aware of weaknesses and shortcomings. Even if it is in retrospect, it helps you to be on the alert for current weaknesses and shortcomings that you may be subconsciously making excuses for. It was interesting to read this, because I feel the same way about my passivity at my last job, and it has helped me to be more vigilant about the way I work and act today. Thanks for the post and for your honesty :)

Being aware of shortcomings is important...
You certainly did and the payoff was improvement plus learning about yourself. Good post, good job!..:)

We learn as we go along, FSI. The important thing is that you DID learn, and took steps to improve.
