Re: i buy alot differently than i use to, now
i try to buy essentials, things that will get used, instead of years ago it was collectables. i realize that peoples lives are changing, and they cannot afford what might be an extra. oddly enough antiques and collectables are out now, at least here they are, we live in a low income and depressed part of the state.

and you would be surprised what sales, what is one man's trash is anothers treasure. if i have something that doesnt sell i give it to the local thrift shop, i do not try to sell clothes or shoes etc, i always give that away. i give away alot of craft items also.

back in 2001 i started selling on ebay and 1-2 thousand a month was easy to do. but it has changed, what sells has changed, what you make has changed, no doubt due to the economy, i dont know if i could sell on ebay any more.

Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do! I'm sure the new location will work out eventually. And believe it or not, I've never been personally involved in a "yard sale," although I do have a bunch of stuff I'd love to unload! However, I doubt if I would have any "big ticket items" amongst any of it . . .
