Oh yes - the Demons were out and about! Gots lots of it here too. I've watched cats wash like that, but never realized it could predict a storm. Nice poem!!

well we are having a cloudy day but no rain or snow predicted but by the weekend it will be below freezing at night

You two are so very gracious to feed all those animals who might otherwise starve. I am sorry yesterday was so bad. Maybe spring will come soon. We had storms down here. My daughter is sick with the flue and has been without power for three days and will not let me come get her for fear I might get the flue. Please remember her in your prayers.

That thing about the cat's ears is new to me, but I did know the birds

will tell you if it's going to rain/snow all day. If it's a short shower, they stay tucked in until it's over. If it's going to rain all day, they go ahead and scrounge for food. All this may change when there are hatchlings in the nest.

Yeah, I know all about that snow! They lost some of it here on the way up to you...And I know about the way puddytats wash themselves behind the ears - I do the same thing...
