You've captured the daffy-down-dilly, indeed!
This all brings to mind scenes from DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, balaika playing Lara's Theme over the images of wild daffodils in the Russian spring... Somewhere, my love, There will be songs to sing...

I was just going to say what I see JimmyA said.
It's hard to tell what size that rock is. Is it a small one?
It is just about daffodil time here. If we had a little bit of sun I think they would bloom, but it has been so cloudy for days on end.

Looks like you did a pretty good job to me! For some reason, we actually don't have too many daffodils around here . . .

These words are among my favorites - such an image they bring
to mind. And your rock looks perfect to me. This was just what we needed at winter's end.

I was so happy in my Shroud ,
I had no thought of ails and ills.
Perhaps not, well it looks like a daffodil
If it was easy everyone would be at it.

That rock is lovely too so don't knock it or that's trouble love. LOL Like no more bread rolls and peanut butter. Love the poem too even if it wasn't an original Kabu.
