I wonder. Techology has changed, and much is different in that aspect for lives of each generation, but I think the basics are still the same. Isn't a mentor more to help build character, the basics of which are respect, caring, strength, honesty, etc. ? Those kind of things are not supposed to change.

I try to keep up since my youngest daughter is only 26 but when I think I understand something new comes along

It will always be the same I suspect JS. Actually I can think of a lot of improvements that still have to be made

kabu, i dont know about you, but i perfer the life i lead over my granddaughters, it was simpler and less hurried.

yes the tech advances make so much of what we knew as young people obsolete...who knows how many more will be made before we die!

I know exactly what you mean dear..and no it is different so very different

to when we were young, the world is in a spin to do something then to move onto the next.
