cct i think anyone can afford to get divorced, i think the problem is they dont want to share what they have accumulated or have to do without what they are used to having.
and then i think some people fight alot and tell you they are close to divorce, but they would never really get a divorce.
i could have divorced and perhaps jumped from the frying pan and into the fire. making a silk purse out of a pigs ear was perhaps less risky.

thanks for the comment and for the ideas. i will post what we do to make ends meet, maybe someone will see something they can do to cut costs, but i dont know how many will be willing to do some of the things i do.

That's a wonderful attitude to have. I know I myself am truly blessed to have finally found my wife! Life is like a picture show . . . some episodes are indeed better than others. But when you have the right person by your side, it's relatively easy to deal with the worse, and move on. I may not be monetarily rich, but I feel rich nonetheless as long as my wife is with me!

intersting marriage, it would of been 49 to for my husband and I but instead of being apart for 20 we have been divorced for 29 and see or speak to each other

Well J, S going back a few more years people could not afford to get divorced and many lived in a state of antagonism. It looks like you have made a silk purse out of a pigs ear and I commend you for doing so.

you should write a book on how you did that....and maybe a blog on how to save money for people who just cant seem to make ends meet on what they can do to trim the fat from their spending
