It's depressing when you spend that much for something that blah.  McDonalds's has fish filets 2 for 3.33 that are probably better if you want a little more for your money and a break from cooking!! to make up for that wasted money.  Plus some restaurants seem to have better cooks on different shifts, you might have caught an off one.

Re:

we will never go back to that resturant.  and jimmy better late to the party than missing it !!  we buy for resale.  we tried buying and then auctioning it off and lost our shirts.  you have to be able to read minds if you want to sale at auctions.  we rent a space in an antique mall.  kabu ask if i would let you all know what i am buying, i intend to take pictures and let you know how much we gave and the price we put on it.

You and I are so alike ....I never make a fuss either but I never go back

either if the food and or service is bad. This sounds like a place to give a miss. Sometimes we get sicck of cooking and do enjoy going out but I think that mostly I could do it tastier at home...just like you. Would love to read about what you bought at the sales.

My wife and I have "experimented" with different restaurants over the years, and if any of them offered the kind of service or food that you and your husband received at this one, we would definitely not return! As for your estate sale, I must ask. Do you purchase these items for resale or to be auctioned off? There's a program on PBS called "Market Warriors," where a small group of antique dealers do just that. Forgive me if I'm "late to the party," but I was just curious about your endeavors.

Cooking is not one thing that I have learned how to do.

Well I thought you all ate big beef steaks? Perhaps that was twenty years ago.
