Re: Thanks for sharing your brilliant view.

afzal, i do not know how brilliant, i do tend to simplify things to much sometimes, but sometimes it just seems like it should be simple and clear cut.

yes kabu, i do shape him up once in a while with a kick.  and i was kinda surprised to hear that as a nurse you were harrassed by women! and it must have been very scary to have to be alone on the floor some nights.  i have to admit i was never afraid of the women in the army, if they had harrassed me they would have been discharged from the army.  but i use to get mad because of the boot marks they would leave when i had to scrub the floors. btw, thanks for your support.

Re:

i really didnt want you to make a judgement on my husband jimmy, there are reasons for everything, and combined with those reasons is the fact i stayed for 49 years, but the reason i mentioned it was to make several statements, first why do most men become priests, second, if they have a problem, it will not solve their problems, and third, they are only men, men and women being sinners.  but you are right about a person can be faithful in God and still be married, my feeling exactly.  although my husband would of made a lousy priest either way.

I believe that one day it will eventually change to where priests can marry.

Proud of you Sis...nothing wrong with your thinking. I do believe that some

times young teenagers are encouraged to become a priest and before they really understand the importance in a person'e life is their sexuality. repressing their sexuality must mess with their minds. The church needs to clean up its act and prosecute and send to jail anyone who harms a child. If consenting adults in the priesthood enjoy homosexual relationships...not my business...but LOL..like you, only as a nurse, I was harrassed by women...didn't like it at all, was dead scared of a couple of supervisors when alone on the floor some nights.

Take care of you and gBUm of a husband of yours a kick where the sun don't shine!!

 for you.

I can't make any judgements on your husband, but I've always felt that making anyone remain celibate for religious reasons was absolutely ridiculous! One can be "faithful in God" and still be involved in a loving relationship or marriage. Why the church always felt the need to separate both has always escaped me . . .

Re: jeansaw

i agree bill, only God can judge true faith, here on earth the consequenses should be the same for everyone.

Re:

it is my understanding that historians do not really know if Jesus was married or not, but i see this all very simply.  if they do wrong then they have to face the consequenses.

äAll that at least in the news shows that they’re sinners too and need Jesus whose death saved anyone in any profession that believe in Him. That’s my belief. But true faith wouldn’t result in those acts. They’ve gotta really believe, that is let go and let God love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

In a nutshell they emulate Jesus and since it is believed He did not marry the priest do not marry! This is what I understood when I was in the Catholic church! I know it is more involved than that but for simplicity that's what I have known! sam
