Yes, a lot of hurt for a lot of people when marriages fail no matter whose at fault or why.

It can be hard to get away from a rough person, it seems to cause trouble later, not to mention people's mindsets.  I am glad yours was one that could be recovered from.

Yes tough, but one needs to get out and realize one has made a mistake pay now not later. A bit different in those times the scales were tipped as they still are in some countries. Years ago I asked my Mum what she would do if a man hit her. She was only small but she said. ' I would get a big stick and hit him if it killed me.'

Memories of times like that from my point of view, I can't write about anymore. Enough writing I thought and psychotherapy taught me to put it behind me. Blogit helped me to get rid of a lot of stuff and it will help your mind too.
