I am just like Mr. G about the locals when they are around me, whether they are slandering me, or just around.  I am not happy or peaceful until they are gone.  Nice for the kids to have a good slide place!  I would certainly not get out in that unless I had to! And lucky you, having someone who can cook fish for you!

Kabu, as much as cats are so individualistic...

one can tell they are cut from the same cloth...our twos' morning routine is much the same as Graysome's, but with a game of tag and some wrestling before curling up together for a nap....

Reading this reminds me of being a kid and playing out in the cold...

I have his twin here, sometimes it would be so nice if they could talk and tell us what is really bothering them

And that's why they say . . . dogs have owners, cats have servants!

Catching up again...son and grandson are both fine looking fellows! Cold, cold here too - even the doggies don't want to stay out too long. And this after a predicted 5 cem of snow, which turned out to be really 14 cm...but so beautiful out there!! Mr. G. is, of course, only doing his job -making sure his humans keep on the ball.

Oh gosh, I could never tolerate that - I don't share food with anyone, especially not with animals

WellI don't have cat problems, mine is trained to just come in and ask for breakfast and then walk on stilts back to the greenhouse . It does not do many fancy tricks, but it soon learned this one in the snow.

Kabu

This is such  a fun post. I can just see that big soldier cat walking his rounds stopping off for a sip of milk from mommy's bowl and back to scare away anything on the grounds. I hope it warms a bit soon.

I say cats rule the roost so to speak! And, I prefer staying in when it's cold! The frightening thing is that I have had to go and the cold has been around so long that I am getting used to and I don't like that one bit! I am used to upper 30's to mid 40's in winter not 0 or 1 below! Two months til Spring, I think we will make it! sam

My Crybe is much the same. She is a funny cat. She waits for bed time then runs to the bathroom where she knows she will get brushed, from there into the bed where she cuddles my neck all night long, then, with first stirrs in the morning it is back to the bathroom. In the day she will call me with meows to the stairs, then to the top of the stairs, then to the darn bathroom for more for more brushes. She spends most of the day looking for ways to get on my lap.

Hot coffee, a footwarmer cat, a good book. My idea of winter. :)
