Your great grandfather had every reason to feel that way, although it must have been rough for the sister.  Nice looking son!!!

I thought your post yesterday was an everyday experience in the world of flying buses, anything but a pity party.

The man in the middle is not only the tallest, but has the biggest smile.

My great, great grandfather's oldest son was taken to Australia for the supposed theft of a file. The family now lives in Perth. The next to oldest son came to this country to meet Joseph Smith and his seed is scattered across the countries of Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and California.

When my paternal grandmother's family left Sicily for New York, they too never saw many family members again as well. Reading this post makes me think about how our interactions have changed so much thanks to technology.

No you have put me off for life unless I could be tranquilized and woken on arrival.

Now look what you have done. Is that a spectacle shop Kabu, glasses as we call them or do my eyes need a new pair. Nice looking man wonder where he got his features from.

Do you know there are a lot of grumpy old men around here, thank goodness it is different in Canada.

I do not think of stating facts as pity parties. It lets those of us who have never been on more than a six hour flight know what it is like to some degree. It is no fun any more for sure. Your son is a handsome man of course I expected that. Love you lady!

Though we do a long flight every couple of years when we head over to Europe for an adventure, I find them extremely difficult.  So I hear ya!  They're a challenge to live through and feel half human at the end of it all.  Nice to drop in and say hi to you as well!

Kabu...

I don't think I could handle that long a flight, either...I've been seasick, so I would imagine air sickness would be there, too....

You can't fool me! That picture was not taken 'Down Under' but somewhere here, probably right in Pembroke! I can tell because these guys are not upside down...And yes, your son is a good-lookin' guy, but it's easy to 'photoshop' your son's face into the picture...

Kabuiepie-;)~

Good looking man is your son Martin and I always know you are looked after. We knew from the get-go how difficult this would be for us, but look darlin' if we did it 4 times we can do it forever and we will. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

What a handsome man, and so pleasant looking.
Yep, a good reason to travel so far.

I agree with Pat B Grandmummy.  You weren't staging a pity party at all.  Just being realistic!  What a handsome devil you have there!  Do you think you could bring one home for me??  Love you.

It wasn't a pity party, as far as I'm concerned.

And yours, the tall good looking one in the middle, does look like you.
