I don't think that is crazy at all... Loss is loss wether real or imaginary, a person or a thing. Besides Justi... who wants to be normal... that is so boring :-) xoxoxo

Well if you're crazy my friend you better move over and let me sit down, I'm crazier. I miss my 2 sons as well, it's been years just because they're angry about divorce or my being in AA. God Bless you and George luv.

I have three brothers - we love one another and get along very well. I can't imagine what it would be like without them...But I have heard from others that they miss siblings they never had...

No, that kind of thinking is not off the wall at all. I guess I must be considered lucky . . . I have three brothers and two sisters ( I'm the fourth of six ). Only eleven years seperates the oldest from the youngest, and we've all been relatively close for all these years ( except geographically . . . one sister lives in Texas, one brother lives in North Carolina . . . the rest are here in Jersey with me ). But whether it's friends or family, people will always need someone in their lives to confide in, to relate to, to talk to, to be with. Take full advantage of whoever it may be. And as far as any "holes" in my life due to absences, I do miss my father very much, who passed away eight years ago . . .

Personally, I had the best relationship with my siblings, and miss them terribly. But I have seen other families torn apart by jealousy and hard feelings between brothers and sisters....if you didn't have siblings, Justi, it is maybe because too many lost people needed your friendship...and you give it. There is always a reason....

Of course Justi it could be an illusion, you might have had a wonderful sister, but there again if you will forgive me strong personalities often clash. I have seen quite a large percent of siblings at loggerheads. You may well have had an angelic sister, but you could been deeply hurt instead. Although we as a family when young were really quarrelsome we are all quite friendly now.

I used to have friends, but it is hard to let people close in real life.
