A beautiful poem there. You do a wonderful job at describing scenes.

Re:
You have some tough birds in your neck of the woods Jimmy , I have seen crows do it here. Most of our garden birds do not build close together. There are too many cats nobbling them.

To think that you even remember the senses that were felt in nostalgia’s incredible sir. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

We have seen smaller birds chase the hawks away when they get too close to their nests. And they do it in packs! Not every aspect of nature is serene!

I thought it was a bit too good to be true Sam, but any little bit of relief is welcome I bet.

Re: C.C.
Thank you Justi it seems a shame they give these housing estates fancy names and then cover the land with houses.

We have a hawk that sits on our fence waiting for a chance at a mouse or a sparrow...Good writing.

Great poem, CC! I was totally captivated! I saw your comment regarding migraines! They are still burdensome but I refuse to talk about them or give them more life than they deserve! As a result folks who know me think I am getting better and I kind of like it that way even though I'm not! sam

That is just beautiful, the air is pristine and nothing goes unseen. I remember living in the country as a child it was beautiful and this is too.
