After seeing a recent photo of me, I've decided diets won't do it:

it's time for a lifestyle lift and a perm. And heavy duty Spanx.

Exercise is important too

I'm sure you know that though, Dear Kabu..:) I don't have a weight problem but if I didn't eat healthy (most of the time) and ride my stationary bike and treadmill every day, I would be alot sicker methinks. I also love my chockies, lol.  Onward!

The Walrus and the Carpenter Walked on a mile or so, And then they rested on a rock Conveniently low: And all the little Oysters stood And waited in a row.

“But wait a bit,” the Oysters cried, “Before we have our chat; For some of us are out of breath, And all of us are fat!” “No hurry!” said the Carpenter. They thanked him much for that.

Here I have been complaining about the snow in my desert and we don't even have enough to shovel the roof! Shame on me! LOL! I can't imagine having to use a snow blower! We did that when I lived in Michigan and to say the least I am happy those days are in my rear view mirror! Best wishes on dropping the holiday pounds, I have a few to get rid of too! I am going to wait until Spring! HAHA! Have a wonderful weekend, too! sam

Kabu

Funny, I was thinking abolut the same thing earlier today! I gotta lose weight! And I shall - but first I have to get rid of all that Christmas stuff - the stilton, the port, the pate, the shortbread, etc. etc....

As I finish one of my home made pecan caramels I agree...In a rather, sort of kind of way. It is snowing here, it snowed all night long, and in that same sort of kind of way I brace myself for the shovel and the cold. They say -5 by Sunday but it is a chipper 17 as we type...Brrrrrrr.

Yep, no sense putting it off, while you work to take it off! A little extra poundage isn't too bad for the winter months, but you're right . . . too much extra weight is not good health-wise. Get to it, and good luck!

Ugh! Diets!! Those snow blowers are hard to manipulate - it takes mucho muscle and endurance when you are dealing with the kind of snow that has been falling this year!

Ha ha, first 8pm. Now you can set your time by my clock. Don't you use salt, I suppose it  is quite expensive in the long run.Archie brought me an half hundred weight sack full last year but I have not used any yet. As I said before we don't sweep our snow away

as we might get done for an accident no the Lords work cannot be blamed. I had to wash my driveway down today, the cars keep parking on the mud next to it. Archie said he would drive spikes into the ground, but I don't like to be an unsocialbully , get it.?
