You're right - when it comes the the weather, a 'wait and see' approach is probably the best. Of course I say that because it's my own...

Yeah, I think being a weather forecaster has to be one of the easiest jobs on the planet. All you have to say is a 50% chance of anything, and you can't be wrong! As for the snow predictions, they're usually very inaccurate with those as well. I just look out of the window each morning to determine whether or not I need to grab my boots and a shovel!

I tend to keep a vague eye on the forecast for the week ahead but I tend to view it as a best guess so I am never surprised or disappointed when it changes. I do tend to be amused by people's response to the long range forecasts but then the media do present them as absolute fact so I can't blame people too much for putting faith in them

I never worry about predictions...If the sun shines I am happy, and if it rains the flowers are happy, and if it snows the skiers are happy...Its a win, win, win thing.

yes one can only trust what did happen. We were told that we would have
little snow because of warm streams in the Atlantic....well so far we have had about double snow that we had last year!!! Like you, I will asess the winter at Spring time.

It is the cause for a bit of excitement I think something different to show on the screen.
We all like a change as long as it does not last.

Our weather forcasters change their minds every time they turn around. It keeps things interesting. LOL
